Week 7 The Rolling Stones

I can't say I'm a huge fan of The Stones but they've been around for so long with so many songs it's hard not to have some favourites. I have a couple the first is Ruby Tuesday and the second is Angie. Whenever I hear that song it puts tears in my eyes and takes me back to a high school friend who lost her life too young. RIP dear Angie.

Week 6 Bryan Adams

I thought since the Olympics have arrived here in Vancouver and everyone is all about cheering on Canada, I would pick a Canadian this week. One of my favourite Canadian artists (esp. growing up) is Bryan Adams. He's had so many great hits over the years but there's nothing like rocking out to Summer of '69. Whenever it comes on the radio I always crank up the volume.

Week 5 The Eagles

Today (Saturday) is my hubby's birthday so I decided to pick one of his favourite's this week. I think it's one that many people can relate with and shouldn't have a problem finding a song that they enjoy. The Eagles are timeless and have been around for many years it's hard not to like them (but it's ok if you don't, lol).
My favourite is Tequila Sunrise, I find it very relaxing and mellow. I love it! Another one I love is The Sad Cafe....looking forward to hearing what your favourites are.

Week 4 Garth Brooks

This week we're going country! Now there's lots of Country artists to choose from but I thought I'd go with Garth first just because he was so popular during his prime and had so many hits. I find it hard to pick just one favourite when an artist has so many good songs but with Garth there is no doubt what mine is. Everytime I hear it, it gives me chills and I have to stop and listen...the song is The River. There's just something about this song that gets me everytime.

Week 3 Madonna

Now I know not everyone is a Madonna fan but she is truly a music icon and her music has influenced so many artists following in her footsteps. So I know there must be at least one song that has reached out to you in some way.

As for me I'm definately more of an old school Madonna fan, I have two favourites. The first is Crazy for You, it's your typical 80's love song and the second is Holiday, which is more fun and carefree, lol.

Week 2 Elvis Presley

This week I've decided to go with a legend, the king of Rock n Roll, Elvis Presley. He has so many good songs to choose from and I know it may be hard to pick just one. However I expect to see some better answers than last week. Saying there all good doesn't help me people so get a little more creative this week, lol

I have a few songs that I love by Elvis but the one that always gets to me is Are you Lonesome Tonight? Such an amazing song.

Week 1 Bon Jovi

The first week is a no brainer, had to go with my favourite band Bon Jovi. My favourite song is Wanted Dead or Alive, what's yours?
